أعلنت شركة الغانم الصناعية في ٢٢ مايو ٢٠٢٥ أنها وقعت اتفاقية مع «ستارلينك» التابعة لسبيس إكس لتصبح قناة عالمية رسمية لمزود خدمة الإنترنت عبر الأقمار الصناعية الخاصة بكوكبة المدار الأرضي المنخفض، من خلال إطلاق «ساما إكس»، وهو مشروع جديد لبائع معتمد، حسبما ذكرت الشركة في بيان. وسيركز الشراكة على أسواق الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا والهند وتركيا وباكستان ومناطق إضافية، بهدف ربط المجتمعات المعزولة بما في ذلك المخيمات الصحراوية والمياه المفتوحة حيث يبقى الاتصال التقليدي بالواي فاي محدوداً.

تشير إحصاءات الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات إلى أن ٤٨ في المائة فقط من الأشخاص في المناطق الريفية استخدموا الإنترنت في ٢٠٢٤ مقارنة بـ٨٣ في المائة في المناطق الحضرية، مما يبرز الفجوة الرقمية التي تسعى تقنية الأقمار الصناعية إلى معالجتها في المواقع النائية والصحراوية. ووفقاً لبيان الغانم، توفر شبكة «ستارلينك» المكونة من أكثر من ٧٠٠٠ قمر صناعي سرعات تشبه الألياف مع زمن استجابة منخفض لأكثر من ٥ ملايين مستخدم في أكثر من ١١٨ دولة. وأشارت النشرة إلى أن الشركة أطلقت منذ ٢٠٢٠ عدداً من هذه الأقمار الصناعية يفوق ما أطلقته جميع المزودين الآخرين مجتمعين.

وأوضح البيان تطبيقات «ستارلينك» عبر الرعاية الصحية للطب عن بعد، والتصنيع لتشخيصات سلسلة التوريد، والاتصالات كدعم خلفي، والتعليم للتعلم عن بعد، وعمليات البحرية للسفن. وسيقدم «ساما إكس» استقبال العملاء والتركيب والتفعيل والدعم المحلي بصفته البائع المعتمد. وقالت شركة الغانم الصناعية إن هذا الجمع يستفيد من خبرتها الإقليمية لتقديم الخدمة بفعالية.

وقال قطيبة ي. الغانم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجلس الإدارة لشركة الغانم الصناعية، في البيان: “اتفاقنا مع ستارلينك يمثل أكثر من مجرد علامة فارقة في مجال الاتصال — إنه قفزة نحو مستقبل رقمي بلا حدود حيث لا تعرف التعليم والابتكار والفرص أي قيود. نحن ملتزمون بتوفير الإنترنت من الفضاء لفتح الفرص على الأرض.” وتعمل الشركة في أكثر من ٣٠ نشاطاً في أكثر من ٤٠ دولة، وتوظف أكثر من ١٥٠٠٠ شخص.

وقال محمود سمارة، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الغانم الصناعية، في الإعلان: “مع «ساما إكس»، نحن لا نربط الناس فقط — بل نمكن مستقبلاً رقمياً مزدهراً. نحن نبني جسوراً إلى التعليم والوظائف عن بعد والأسواق العالمية وبيئات الابتكار. من التعلم عن بعد والطب عن بعد إلى العمل عن بعد والأعمال القائمة على السحابة، نحن نساعد في خلق عالم أكثر اتصالاً وشمولاً وقدرة — بدءاً من الآن.”

وقد حصلت خدمات «ستارلينك» على الموافقات التنظيمية في الأردن وعمان وقطر والبحرين واليمن، حسبما أفاد بيان الشركة، مع قيام السعودية بتخويل استخدامها في قطاعي الطيران والبحرية. ووصفت النشرة هذه الخطوات بأنها تفتح عصرًا جديدًا من التنقل والبنية التحتية الذكية. وبدأ الإطلاق الأولي من خلال سلسلة متاجر «إكسايت» الإلكترونية التابعة للشركة في الكويت، وفقاً للإعلان.
